Background

The word “Gonona” means “Computing” in Bengali language.The company was founded by a team of enthusiastic IT specialists who wanted to overcome the routine and create a company that would act in the market not only for business success but for the sake of Technology itself.

Gonona Technologies Limited is an ISO 9001:2008 certified leading IT and Creative Service provider with inspiring ideas, innovation and vision. The company was originally formed in 2002 with a different name, with the ambition to become market leader in website design and development. With time, the company diversified its business and was renamed Gonona Technologies Limited, with the aim to become one of the market leaders in Asia in the field of IT technology.

The difference between Gonona and just another IT firm is that the company’s vision is always ambitious and futuristic. For this reason, it has a strong focus to keep its grasp in the R&D department. With our R&D and consulting, “DOEL”, the first laptop to be produced in Bangladesh, was possible. As an R&D partner Gonona worked from concept development to testing and contributed in every phase to make the production possible. Furthermore, our R&D team is working on producing the world’s cheapest Android Tablet computer, “KITAB”. This is just one of the many products with vision Gonona has in the pipeline to enrich the lives of everyday people.
